“The flowers for our wedding was the thing I was most looking forward to and in the early stages of wed-min, proved to be the most difficult to arrange. Thankfully a friend referred us to Julia and suddenly the theme fell into place and I had someone to collaborate with on all of the creative elements of the day.
We had an idea of what I wanted but was not sure how to bring it all together and this was the greatest benefit of working with Jules. Our wedding was held at a beachside restaurant yet we didn’t want a beachy look. We wanted to create a romantic atmosphere but were looking for it to be more sophisticated as opposed to pretty and traditional. And most of all we didn’t want a generic/predictable wedding look to the day. Jules listened to all of this and worked around the clock providing us with lots of options and advice, drawing on her extensive experience as a premier florist. Despite living on opposite sides of the Pacific, Jules was always in contact and made all of the arrangements come together effortlessly. Many mornings, I looked forward to opening the Pinterest board Jules created to see what creative ideas she had come up with.
The result was a truly special space that didn’t compete with the beach views during daylight and evolved into something magical at dusk thanks to the numerous candles, metallic vessels and impressive large scale arrangements and suspensions that made up the design.
We received so many comments from guests about how spectacular the venue looked and I’m sure we couldn’t have achieved the same impact using another florist. Most importantly Jules was an utter delight to work with, not only for us but our other suppliers and the venue have all commented on her professionalism, relaxed nature and above all her creativity.
I could not recommend Julia enough for anyone wishing to create an event that is custom tailored and anything but predictable.”
